Marival Resort & Suites Nuevo Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit features a state-of-the-art Convention Center. For your convention in Nuevo Vallarta, we offer one ballroom and four breakout rooms for 45 to 1,000 guests. Here you will be able to have meetings, coffee breaks, and banquets or buffets. Cocktail receptions are also possible.

There is also a foyer which can also accommodate a maximum of 80 guests for a coffee break.

Stage shows, Mariachi bands, Marimba trios, live disc jockeys, live bands, dance floors, stages and lighting are all available in Nuevo Vallarta. Meeting planners will want to include some of these in planned evening events for their groups.

In Nuevo Vallarta, stage shows are colorful and full of wonderful music with dancing. Some demonstrate the traditional dress of various areas of Mexico. Some offer examples of the many musical styles of Mexico. No matter what the theme of the stage show, guests will thoroughly enjoy the show in Nuevo Vallarta.

Mariachi bands provide wonderful entertainment for everybody. Mariachis originated in the Mexican state of Jalisco and usually consist of two violins, two trumpets, one Mexican guitar, one vhuela ( a high-pitched five-string guitar) and one small-scaled acoustic bass. The band members dress in silver-studded outfits and wear wide-brimmed hats. These are the groups who normally serenade the ladies. Their repertoire varies between sad and very romantic music. The marimba is much more than a musical instrument. It is a cultural symbol woven into everyday life in the Mexican state of Chiapas. The people of Chiapas call the marimba the "wood that sings."
